Our submission for the 2026 Very serious Juniper Dev Game jam

Want to relive your childhood? Want to experience an over-engineered physics simulator? Boy do we have the game for you!

Enjoy fighting your way to the top with these non-copyrighted, non-trademarked, legally distinct spinning tops called Beys! Fight to the top of what? We haven't gotten to that part yet. Just try to get a high score!

Enjoy weird and quirky characters, like:

John Tutorial, Scavenger Scrapper, Tree Man, Mr. All Rounder, and The Gambler. 

Can't find them in game? That's because we didn't have time to implement their voice lines yet! (We have them recorded, but no time to upload. Instead, you can enjoy the voices in your head. Our audio guy is pissed).

This description was written by the audio guy, who also made a bunch of SFX that didn't make it in.

The game has absolutely not been balanced, play (rage) at your own risk (sanity) and pray that the RNG gods (whatever it is that Unreal engine uses for random seeding) look down upon you with grace - The QA guy

Because I have seen people getting confused:

1. Please listen carefully to john, he explains everything you need to know about building your bey and if you don't listen you will be confused. (most of what is below is not necessary to read if you listen to john)

2. The hit boxes in the beyble are a little bugged, you will need to click above them in order for them to properly work. They will hover forward when properly hovered.

3. you don't need an insignia to complete your bey, it is a bonus thing that is admittedly way to rare

4. Double check your bey is using the right parts that you want to before submitting lineup, I have seen people submitting their beys with the starter lineup after accidentally swapping out the good component they just got.

5. Once you have a complete bey (it has 3 parts, top, weight, and bit) there is a button in the top left of your screen (john tells you this) which is where you go to submit your bey lineup.

6. If you ever lose your beys location in battle press and hold shift and an arrow will appear over its head.

Known Crash

there is a random crash that can occur after winning/losing a match. I know what the problem is now but didn't know about when submitting the final build of the game :(
